We are a group of historians, literary scholars, historians of art, music and material culture, with a strong interest in the interdisciplinary study of Italian history and culture in Italy and beyond, from the fifteenth to the eighteenth century. We meet regularly around the Early modern Italian seminar and hope to foster exchange and collaboration on all things Italian and on connections between Italian and other communities and cultures outside Italy, in the Mediterranean, Europe and the rest of the world.
